Haunted: Part 1
Hermione wrapped her scarf more tightly around her. It was October but it was freezing, the chill wind nipping at the exposed tip of her nose, and her rosy cheeks. Strands of her thick and unruly hair lifted with the wind, which seemed to howl. That lonesome, eerie, howl was just fitting for Halloween night.
Hermione gave a sigh which came out from between her strawberry lips in a small puff of vapor. It was that cold as she walked across Hogwarts grounds.
In the distance was the leaning building that was now her destination. Many memoriessom

The Mission.
The story of Hansel and Gretel is, as every British witch and wizard knows, a tissue of appalling lies from start to finish. Cannibalism amongst wizarding folk has never been common; quite aside from the moral implications, the existence of Polyjuice and shapeshifting means that one would never quite be sure who one was eating.
Severus Snape (who had been told the tale at the age of three, further cementing his belief that Muggles were a lying bunch of wizard-hating bastards) was coming to the conclusion that while there wasn't a single grain of truth in the story, the pub table around which he and his fellow Death Eaters were sitting was ve

Impractical Magic
He brews under a full moon in a circle of salt. Pearl dust and asphodel infused with lavender and magic and bound with honey. A sprinkle of starthistle and cinnamon, the incantation whispered, his elixir complete. He visits the greenhouse that very night moonlight plentiful and bright to harvest fresh silverweed and thyme. Then to the forest he walks in search of bloodroot moonstone, and midnight blooming foxglove. His cauldron awaits. Belladonna and bone soaked then steeped in a mixture of fairy wings, rosewater and a drop of wormwood essence. Mulling the concoction until a fine mist rises and sparkles. Decanted his potions shimmer, vials of the unimaginable, the impossible- liquid luck shrouded in gold, the swirling scarlet of love, the amber hued solution that will.. bend the will of the drinker… to his. He stands back a moment, smiling to himself, at his creations, gleaming in the torchlight, luminous in their perfection. His tools to enchant, to intoxicate and ensnare.

An homage to Severus Snape
In darkened corridors, his presence loomed. A phantom filled with secrets and despair. His heart, by love's cruel hand, entombed, A tortured soul burdened beyond repair. His mournful eyes, like twin pools of black, Holding depths of sorrow and regret. After years and turmoil, no solace he lacked, A broken heart he would never forget. Beneath a facade of icy disdain, A gentle heart longing for peace and rest, His love for her forever would remain, A secret vow hidden deep within his breast. Betrayed by fate, his path forever set, Bound by duty, honor, and bloodied stains. He walked a tightrope, trapped within a net, A shroud of darkness veiling his pain. Yet in his actions, hope's flickering flame, An ember of redemption, a hard-won grace. For every wound he sought to reclaim, A moment of love in a cold, cruel place. In memories and dreams, he would retreat, To moments lost, forever locked away. A whispered promise, so bittersweet, A love that blossomed, but dared
Atop the castle a lone figure stands,
the moonless night, it summons the dark.
He casts a lumos and his robes, they flutter
it is silent up there, except when he mutters.
The skull and the snake- the dark lord's mark.
How can he live with what he commands?
Lived most of his life as a teacher- a spy,
a loner, heartbroken, always dressed in black.
Atonement can't be found on the astronomy tower
and love will always rule over unending power.
Lily... she's gone, she'll never come back,
he weeps for now because he never said goodbye.
Robbed of her friendship, everything was tragic,
Severus misses the splendor- the wonder of magic.
"Take it."
I wanted to succumb to the darkness then. I welcomed the emptiness of death's embrace. The pain... the bloody pain. Nagini's venom would kill me, this I knew, I was already to week to move, didn't have my wand, had no potions, nothing but agony. I stared into the eyes of Harry Potter and for the briefest of moments I imagined I was looking at Lily. With the last of my strength I gave him my memories then closed my eyes for what I thought would be last time.
My trip beyond the veil was interrupted- rudely I might add- by none other than Hermoine Granger. The witch slapped me, shouted in my face.
"Professor, please. Snape!" Slap.

Professor Isic Blackblood was a woman of many virtues. Now to most, this line of thought would have been attributed to her pleasant looks and easy smile; but it was in fact another achievement that made her unique to her peers. Having become a teacher at Hogwarts at the tender age of 18, Isic had made a name for herself; having risen above all expectations (including her own). She had slid happily into the position of Professor for the school’s Mythical Creatures class and had never looked back.
Now after almost seven years of teaching, the woman could honestly say that she had found her true

Harry Potter and the Descendent Covenant
This story takes place in a world where Harry Potter declined to be a part of the Triwizard Tournament, which was eventually cancelled after the exposure of Barty Crouch jr’s impersonation of Mad-Eye Moody. We find our heroes at the beginning of their seventh and final year, wherein Voldemort has not returned, there has been no search for the Horcruxes, and life at Hogwarts has gone on without interruption from dark wizardry. Professor Snape has finally been granted his dream job as defence against the dark arts teacher and is running the most successful program since before Voldemort’s at

Snape was waiting in the doorway to his office, and allowed Lily to pass without a single word spoken. She found herself a seat in front of his stacked desk, but was surprised to find the teacher wasn’t joining her. He was still stood up, waiting expectantly for her to notice him. The lamps were dimmer in this part of the dungeon, and Lily couldn’t help but feel like the darkness was making her uncomfortable. Thinking back though, all of Snape’s potions classes had always been this devoid of light, which was possibly to blame for the poor test results a lot of his students received in their end of year exams.
